Banana Loaf Cake
I entered this in a local fair about 20 years ago and won a prize!
1-1/2 c sugar
½ c shortening
2 egg yolks
1 c mashed bananas
1 c sour cream
2-1/2 c sifted cake flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 c walnuts
Combine in order given. Bake in well greased loaf pan for 1 hr and 10 min at 350
degrees.
